Edwardian Era As people flocked to the big cities, due to the growth of urbanization, this caused new fashion trends to arise changing the whole way women presented themselves. Women primary expressed themselves through their clothing and as they achieved more freedom so did their clothing. This was primarly due to the abundance of leisure time people acquired, and their clothes needed to be functional for this. With the industrial revolution as the creation of sewing machines women were able to buy ready clothes rather than make their own. Instead of women working in factories a new figure emerged of the well educated, literate, social woman. Much known as the "Gibson Girl" a fictional character to express the new feminine ideal of a young, strong, loving, tall, slender, indepednat, charming woman all girls strove to be. Before the Embassy was invaded workers shredded documents, but the militants hired weavers to resemble the material and have created volumes of books and of American information and shared to Iran.  Original Studio 6 business cards . Authentication that Studio 6 did exist for the cover of the operation. The U.S grew as a nation during the 1600's to Civil War by uniting together so they could live in a place where people could live freely . This was not a simple task though. Before the Civil War began the first permanent English settlement in the Americas was Jamestown which did not last. Before the pilgrims even arrived a Dutch ship arrived in Virginia full of slaves, which was the beginning of the problems that would emerge during the Civil war. After the pilgrims came the Mayflower Compact was created which documented the self- government of the colonies which would soon be established to the original 13 colonies. The first major issue that occurred for the new settlers began with the French and Indian War. The war increased the cost for Britian to defend the colonies and instead of taxing British taxpayers Parliament decided to tax the colonials instead.
